HSH is proud to organize an annual charity hockey tournament to raise money for spinal cord research. Proceeds from this event support the Canadian Spinal Research Organization (SCRO), specifically their Shoot for a Cure and “Play it Cool” initiatives. The 2014 event, held in April, raised close to $49,000, bringing the eight year total to over $300,000.
On April 3rd, eight teams competed for the honor of the Collins Barrow Cup, this year’s new title sponsor. Canlan Ice Sports played host for this event which was open to both defence and plaintiff lawyers who practice in the area of personal injury law. We were honoured to have NHL great Eddie Shack oversee proceedings as our special guest. Check out event photos .
