banner_out-of-the-rough-2016Back in 2002, the St. Mike’s Hospital Head Injury Clinic held the first Out of the Rough golf tournament to raise funds for patient care and research.  Now in its 14th year, Out of the Rough has raised over $1 million net to date.

As a founding sponsor, HSH is proud to continue our ongoing involvement on the organizing committee and support as Associate sponsor.  Managing Partner David Levy was MC for the evening.

Each year the tournament is attended by over 200 professionals from the healthcare, law and business sectors who come out to golf, have fun and give at the same time.

As part of the day’s festivities, players golfed a fabulous course in perfect golf weather, sampling great food at stations on the course. They also competed for exciting prizes, and tried to “Beat the Don”.

Leafs great Wendel Clark did not disappoint. He not only gave an insightful speech on the impact of concussions in hockey, but also was available during the day to golf.  An auction to golf with him for nine holes was held,  HSH had highest bid for the first nine holes.
