BIST Art Show Showcases Creativity of People Living with Effects of Brain Injury

BIST expressive art show launch poster

On June 2nd, to celebrate Brain Injury Awareness Month, the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) is launching its Virtual Expressive Art Show. The event showcases artworks created by people living with the effects of brain injury.

HSH Associate Samantha Shatz is a member of BIST’s Brain Injury Awareness Committee and has volunteered her time and energy to help organize this event. The show is viewable online, and selected artworks will also be displayed in commercial storefronts and other businesses around Toronto. After sundown, residents of the city are invited to look for the CN Tower, which will be lit up in blue and green to celebrate Brain Injury Awareness Month.

We encourage everyone to take a look at the online gallery and register for the launch at BIST’s website.
