HSH is a proud ongoing supporter of Music Heals, a fun annual fundraising event at the Hard Rock Cafe, this year held on June 15th.

2012 marked the inaugural Music Heals event organized in honour of our friend Kadey Schultz and her son Emery, who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Proceeds from Music Heals 5 will go to the Biggar Endowment for Muscular Dystrophy at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.

DMD is the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed in childhood, it only affects boys, and most only live into their twenties. However, research is moving in leaps and bounds. We are that much closer to a cure.

By throwing your support behind this event we are creating real change and a chance to change the world for kids with disabilities. Thank you for your support. To Donate to the Biggar Endowment for Muscular Dystrophy

We are close with Kadey and her family. As you may know, Senior Partner Adam Wagman has previously performed on stage at this event with his brother.  He also accompanied Kadey’s solo performance last year.  In a surprise performance, the torch was  passed to the next generation. Adam’s son Josh and Kadey’s daughter Lily performed Count on Me, with Adam playing guitar and Kadey singing backup.
